D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Theodosius II facing, wearing pearl diadem and holding a spear with his right hand and a shield, decorated with a cavalryman riding over a fallen enemy, over left shoulder. Rev. VOT XXX MVLT XXXX Z / CONOB Constantinopolis seated left, resting her left foot on prow, holding globus cruciger in her right hand and a scepter with her left; shield at her side; in field to right, star.
